Round Out Your Bikini With A Brazilian Butt Lift

Trends come and go, but there is a change in the perception of what makes an attractive woman. Gone are the skinny anorexics, and in are women shaped, like, well regular women. Curves are in, and that’s a good thing.

If you want to add a little curviness to your figure for the coming Ohio lake and pool season, Dr. Fedele can perform a Brazilian Butt Lift. The procedure takes unwanted fat from one area of your body and injects it into your buttocks, instantly adding shape and roundness.

What Is A Brazilian Butt Lift And How Is It Different From Butt Augmentation?

Formerly, if a woman wanted to augment her bottom, she’d have to have silicone implants placed. These were dicey, as they could move and mess up everything. For a Brazilian Butt Lift, we use your own fat for the augmenting. That’s cool because it gives the procedure a secondary benefit — the ability to remove unwanted fat through liposuction. Versus butt implants, the consensus seems to be that augmentation with your natural fat delivers more natural looking results.

How Is A Brazilian Butt Lift Performed?

A Brazilian Butt Lift begins with sterile, closed-system liposuction, which obviously is a secondary benefit of the procedure. Dr. Fedele takes fat from an unwanted area (most popular areas are the lower back, waist, flanks, thighs, and stomach) through tumescent liposuction. Small incisions are made. Local anesthesia is infused first, and then a thin cannula is inserted and moved back and forth to loosen the fat pockets in the area. The cannula then suctions out the fat. Up to three times the amount of fat that will be re-injected may be harvested. By removing fat, it not only provides the raw material for the buttock enhancement, but it can also contour the areas around the butt for a more dramatic result.

Next, the fat, tissue, and blood that were suctioned out are processed to separate the fat. Dr. Fedele then re-injects the fat back into the buttocks through hundreds of tiny injections all over your buttocks. He pays particular attention to the upper buttocks, so the entire area looks youthfully lifted.

How Long Do Results Take?

Results are immediately visible, but they keep improving with time because it takes some time for the fat to “take.” It can take a full year before a patient’s full results are visible. Over time, some of the initial volume from your fat grafting procedure will diminish. On average, patients retain 60 to 80% of the transferred fat, with the body absorbing the rest.
