Susan is our Licensed Medical Aesthetician with over 20 years of experience with skin care and facial rejuvenation. She takes a comprehensive, individual approach to each patient's skin care evaluation and daily maintenance needs. She has advanced certifications in cosmetics, skin care, body treatments, chemical peels, hair removal, microdermabrasion, and is a Certified Permanent Cosmetic Technician (CPCT). She maintains her credentials by attending yearly advanced education classes in both the aesthetic and medical fields. She has traveled both regionally and nationally as a makeup artist, educator, consultant, and public speaker. Susan has appeared on "That's Life" with Robin Swoboda, which aired on WJW TV channel 8, in Cleveland, Ohio discussing the topic of "How to take ten year's off your life."
Aesthetic services are important to Susan. Her goal is to give you beautiful, clear, glowing skin to help turn back the hands of time. This can be achieved in one of several ways. After a full skin assessment, there are choices in facial treatments that can be selected or tailored to your specific needs and goals. For example, a series of chemical peels or microdermabrasion treatments will renew, repair, refresh, and rejuvenate your skin to create a radiant and healthy complexion. She will address your skin care concerns such as lack of firmness, clarity, uneven tone or texture, age spots, sun damage, wrinkles and mature skin. She has dealt with skin conditions such as rosacea, acne, hyper pigmentation, port wine stains, melasma, and various skin types. Susan will recommend to you appropriate treatments, products, and a home care regimen which will help you to maintain the look you are after to transform your skin from within thereby accelerating the cell renewal process.
As an accomplished makeup artist, Susan's passion and flare for makeup application includes not only design and technique, but the ability to draw from past experience. She has worked with scores of women to achieve their desired look. She has worked with clients and patients to do corrective, paramedical makeup applications and has helped clients and patients by teaching them how to care for post procedure looks or how to cover port wine stains, vitiligo, scars, acne, and plastic or reconstructive surgery. Susan desires to make every moment a memory for her patients. She works with the best pharmaceutical grade cosmetics on the market, and she will help to select colors that are right for you. This year we will be adding permanent cosmetic enhancement choices to our menu of services and there will be more information coming in the near future.
